They say that good things come in threes and that’s certainly proving true for me today.
1) A surprise invitation from an old friend (actually, a very old boyfriend, back in the day when love was cheap and plentiful) asking me to his birthday lunch in November.
2) A very productive morning’s work. The kind where you do something and get almost immediate responses, enabling you to progress some more still. V satisfying.
3) And this evening I shall be heading over to Wimbledon to hear a Quaker author speak about her latest book Simplicity Made Easy, which I love, as do several other people in my meeting as it hasn’t stopped being passed from one person to another since I got it. Take a look at http://www.quaker.org.uk/shop/simplicity-made-easy if you’re after a brief but insightful reflection on what it means to cut the crap and get to what really matters in your life. Like today’s three good things.
